I made it 3 weeks before I had to post a sign. The adrenaline is wearing off and lack of sleep is kicking in. You read it in every baby book, "sleep when the baby sleeps" it's true! I'm hard headed and always try to get something done on my to do list while the babies are asleep. I did not do this when Miss C was a newborn but I am attempting to do it with the twins. The trick is catching them both asleep at the same time for any length of time. So far the best time for a good nap is 8-11 am. There must be a light that comes on as soon as my head hits the pillow that says come on over! Be it solicitors or the neighbors. Some people ring the doorbell 5 times, never do that people... Never! Some people are polite and knock but I have two dogs who bark and it wakes us all.
The result of all this knocking & bell ringing is the sign! The fine print on the bottom ask to please call or text my cell phone rather than knock or ring the bell.
Now I'm off for some peaceful slumber, yeah right!
Speaking of sleep, we are working on getting Miss C into a good night time routine. She takes after her mothers side of the family, we are night owls. I'm realizing just what a commitment it is to make a schedule and stick to it!
So that's what's the Collins are up to, sleep, or lack there of.
Location:Week 3's top priority: sleep
That has to be the trendiest, most polite way to say it. Hope the sign helps. Baby yourself too, Amber.
