6th Birthday Post!

I never know how I want to write these post. To Miss C or about Miss C. Do this time I'm writing about her. Yet writing is not half as bad as trying to pick out a few pictures, just a few, when I want to post all 40,000 of you!

Mommy

My first baby turned 6 this week! Holy Cow! I must say I did something right with this kid! She is so sweet, caring, smart and pretty. She is seriously the best big sister. She is a mother hen to "her" twins and a good friend to others.
She has a sassy streak when it comes to getting up in the mornings & I'm getting a taste of the tween years that are ahead. She loves school and is testing well into 1st grade curriculum.
She is OBSESSED WITH ALL THINGS FROZEN! Thanks again Disney!
She is very good at most anything she tries once she gets past being shy to try new things. Currently she is in Tae Kwan Do, golf & art history.
Last week she lost her first tooth and insist it stay in it's box on the kitchen counter for our viewing pleasure.

45.5 inches tall (57%)  and 47 lbs (75%) size 6 clothes & size 12 shoes.

My little buckaroo turned 4!

Miss C wanted a pony party AGAIN this year. Click here to see last year's pony party at my mom's house. This year I really needed to keep it simple but I still wanted to give her the pony party she wanted. I found a place less then a mile from our new house called The little Buckaroo Ranch. We invited a few friends and family to come enjoy the animals with us.
I'll give the buckaroo ranch a little review here: Overall great experience. Cowgirl Mariam, owner and party leader, well let's just say she never breaks character! She might be a little overly stern when it comes to her rules. For example when Uncle Joe (an adult here people) petted a pony out of turn she busted into song & dance to correct him in front of the group. It was really funny but I'm not sure Uncle Joe and Cowgirl Mariam thought so.  My family thought I was a little crazy for paying perfectly good money to be let around a "farm"

Miss C's Cowgirl Party

This year Miss C had a cowgirl themed party out on my families ranch at my parents house. I really wanted to scale the party down from the usual 50 or 60 guest (120 for her 1st)...I'm nuts about parties! and have mostly just family and close friends. Miss C still has living great grandparents and great great parents. I wanted to host at least one birthday back home to share with these family members before Miss C starts having parties with her friends and does not want us old fart adults around!
A million thanks to my friend Jennifer Jennifer Willard photography who photographed the party for me. I's awesome to have all these great pictures! I actually got to enjoy the party, talk to the guest and play with Miss C with out the camera in my hands. How lucky am I to have a fabulous photographer for a friend!
