Fathers Day Weekend

All Mr. T asked for for fathers day was to watch the US Open in his media room. YUCK! But we obliged. We did manage to get him out for a few fun activities before the golf coverage started. 

after 500 games of candy land I thought Daddy might enjoy getting a new game for fathers day! Shoots and Ladders! 

Big Sister Class Graduate!

Miss C is officially a Big Sister Class Graduate! 

(and Daddy got a nice refresher course)

This was a great experience for Miss C. She learned how to best help mommy when the new baby comes home, feeding and diapering. Then We took a tour of the hospital where Ms Pauleta explained things that might look scary but they are not, beeping monitors, IV's, Dr's act.

Baby Girl:

Mommy: 

I learned that being pregnant with multipals is a whole new ball game when it comes to numbers. My OB visits are very different than they were with Miss. C. The main focus for the first 24 weeks was my weight gain and how VERY important it is in relation to avoiding preterm labor. I got the lecture every visit but then finally they have backed off a bit now that we can see the weight of the twins is JUST FINE! Perfect in fact. The Dr. is amazed at there closeness in measurements. 

I can't believe I'm doing this but I'm about to put my weight out there for all the world to see... deep breath! But If I don't record theses little nuggets of information they become lost in the old memory bank and eventually become blurry memories (see thats how I God designed it we forget the aches and pains and get baby fever and want to do it again!)

So I have a handy dandy chart to keep track of my weight gain

Twins Pregnancy:

Starting weight: 108 lb

Total weight gain at 28 weeks: 27.2lb

For comparison here were my stats with Miss C

Start weight: 108lb

Delivery weight: 138 lb

Total weight gain: 30 lb

Back to Pre-School she goes

Our early summer has already come to an end and Miss C started her new school on Tuesday. There were some tears (I saved mine till I was in the privacy of my car) but it ended up being a good day. The teacher said she cried for about 5 minutes and was quickly over it. When I picked her up she was having snack and did not even jump up to come see me. So after weeks of her telling me she was never going to school again she admitted she had a good time and was glad she stayed! 

Now let's see how we do Thursday on day two!!!

Congratulations Class of 2012

Congratulations Jake! 

We could not be prouder! I have watched you grow up in the blink of an eye and now your heading off to college and fulfilling your dream of playing baseball. 

I must admit the ceremony made me feel old as hell and miss teaching seniors. But I love my current job more!

Oh yeah I'm still pregnant?!?

To say this pregnancy has flown by would be an understatement but slowly it's coming to a screeching haunt! Literally I'm coming to a halt I'm so huge! I'v had great intentions to blog all the details of this pregnancy for our memory book but that has been a major fail! Since there is a very good chance this could be my last pregnancy I'm vowing from this week on to write at least one post a week about the twins.
The catch to subsequent pregnancies I failed to realize (even though Iv been told) is:
A.) no two pregnancies are ever the same... Hello Twins vs. Singleton
B.) you still have life with a toddler to contend with
C.) my husband thinks he is an old parenting pro therefor has an answer to all things like " I don't need to read that, C is perfect so let's just do whatever you did with her again"
So I'm actualizing that I probably have about 9 weeks before these babies arrive! 9 what!! I'm down to single digits!
